Compulsory Delivery Charges
My wife opened an account on a 30 month term to buy a TV set. She was requested to submit a copy of her ID, three months pay slips and proof of residence. The required documents were duly submitted including three months bank statements in addition. After completing the administration documents and process, the Sales Consultant informed us that there will be an additional change of R275.00 for delivery. We queried this and she informed us that the additional amount was compulsory as it is a policy that all first time term purchases will have to be delivered, We found it to be strange as authentic proof of residence documents were submitted.

I cannot understand the rational behind this and I think it is just one BIG *******. I am EXTREMELY unhappy about this COMPULSORY delivery policy and charge more so that we had our own transport and we live just a few blocks from the store.
