AVOID BUYING FROM HOUSE AND HOME DUE TO *****ULENT ACTIVITIES
Bought couches cash in December 2022 and upon arrival they were torn and i immediately requested a refund in line with their policy and the couches were taken back. During February 2023 I was requested to submit my banking details, affidavit and completed a vendor form received. I keep calling House & Home and always say that I will receive the money anytime but it always lies. I wrote a complain to House & Home and they just gave me a ref number on the 31 March 2023 and till today no one has called to resolve my issue. With the experience I am going thru with House & Home I WOULD ADVISE PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY FROM HOUSE & HOME CAUSE THEY WILL DELIVER TORN COUCHES AND THEY WONT REFUND YOU UNTILL YOU GET THE LAWYERS INVOLVED.

25 Apr 2023, 13:12Called and spoke to Margret, Mitchel and Morgan regarding the refund that is due since December 2022 of which all the required documents were completed and sent during February 2023 and also to escalate things I raised a complaint on the 31 March 2023 but was just given a reference number and no one called to date.
Last week Monday I was assured that I will receive the money on Monday 17th 2023 but nothing came thru and mind you I have made commitments since its my money.
Management has failed its duties of oversight as none of the managers who I made aware of my situation did not act upon to ensure that I get my money timeously. However if it was the other way around You would be charging interest and penalties regardless of the situation, thus I expected that immediately upon noting that I have I have a long overdue refund of over 3 Months, management make an exception of making sure I receive the money immediately as you would want money owed to you to be paid timeously. Due to managements lack of executing their duties effectively, I have lost interest that I would have incurred had the money be in my account, now my money has earned interest on my expense and suffering and when I demand that payment be done immediately I'm now told about the procedures which failed ME. ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY, YOU RECEIVED MY LETTER OF DEMAND (Affidavit) DATED FEBRUARY REQUESTING THAT PAYMENT BE DONE WITHIN 14 WORKING DAYS OF WHICH IT WAS NOT ADHERED TO. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ASSIST ME IN GETTING MY MONEY, WHICH IS EARNING INTEREST ON YOUR ACCOUNT NOT MINE THE RIGHTFULL OWNER.
