12 month guarantee

In 2014 i bought a lounge corner suit from House and Home . The original price of the lounge suite was 11 999.00 and it went on sale for R 7999.00 which i then bought cash . I was not told that it had a guarantee of 12 months nor that it was damaged or used for display . <br> Now in 2016 the lounge suite is falling apart . The sponges are finished and the couch makes noise whenever one sits and stand up . When i called i was told about a 12 month guarantee. Please explain to me how a shop like house and home whos things are not cheap can only have 1 year guarantee? Since the customer care lady was supposed to call me back am still waiting . I was also told i need to pay if house and home has to fix anything on the couches..Am very unhappy and feel that for the amount we paid we should have received better service and we were suppose to be told about guarantee and good that were already not in good condition . i would like someone to attend my this matter and help me get the lounge suite replaced .R8000.00 cash i feel is alot of money as i was willing to pay the R11 999.00 bt they said no its on sale, so now i know was it reduced so much ,it was damaged .
