I would like to comment on this facility because I have been visiting and stayed over for a week.. I know quite a few people (drug addicts etc) who have been through this program and have been clean for 2 years already, some even after 1 year. Then, there are those who stayed on and work there. They dont want to leave! When you speak to the people, they love it there. They say its like a holiday resort and they are not locked up the whole day. Each one has a work (job) to do to keep them busy. Some work in the kitchen, others do gardening, others do the washing, others keep children busy etc. Yes, children! There are mothers with kids and have nowhere to leave them.. They are allowed to stay with them. There is a school just round the corner. Their rehabilitation program is based on the Bible which is the basis of everything in life. Once you accept the Lord as your Savior, you dont want to take the wrong path, it makes you think twice. I have recommended House Benjamin to many people and have never heard any complaints whatsoever! Their fees are very reasonable and therefor they ask for sponsors of course. The food is nutritious and tasty and everyone gets the same, even Management. Anyone is welcome to go and visit the place before booking in.
