Thank GOD for House Benjamin

I am a Senior resident at House Benjamin.. Through my 3 years on the program I have stumbled and relapsed many times, being a very hectic drug addict for 16 years all together. Through my time here I have been give chance after chance after chance to fix my life up. Not once was I chased away for my bad behavior and or relapses or anything I did wrong.

I was definitely punished accordingly, washing dishes for weeks at a time, Digging ******* holes for ******* burning purposes, french drains when needed and anything that was necessary on the farm at the time of my wrong doing.

These times were in retrospect good times in my life where I learnt to take responsibility for my actions. Learnt that hard work makes me feel good about myself and gives me some self worth.

As quickly as I was in trouble equally quick I would be forgiven and in due time I realised that God was busy working in my life through the House Benjamin team.

Now I am one of the senior leaders at House Benjamin and I have decided to devote my life to this cause that saved my life from jail and I'm sure later on death.

Sure its not easy to stop using drugs, if it was there would be no need for centres like HB. In all this time here I can assure you..
