Dog suffers from bad grooming

When a company makes a claim about taking extra special care of animals in thier care, one trusts that this will indeed be the case. My ****er Spaniel suffers from hip dysplasia & requires very sensitive handling when being groomed.

This was specifically explained to staff when dropping him off. The following morning however, my dog could not walk!

A vet visit & X-rays revealed confirmed extremely aggrivated & inflamed hip joints as a result of insensitive handling.

They argue that the dog was fine when he left their care & therefore was not their fault. As the vet explained, swelling & inflammation are not immediate. As swelling develops it puts more pressure on the joints causing more pain as it progresses - hence by the following morning my dog was shivering uncontrollably from the pain & unable to walk.

After leaving a message for management to contact me, my called was returned, but fruitless as the owner talked his company's honesty & care policies over me & gave me no chance to speak.

I then sent an email to management & attached my vet bills for their account & requested a full refund. This was obviously ingnored & when I called again to settle the matter I was once again talked over by the second owner who clearly attended the same public relations school as his partner. I tried to ask if there grooming staff even understand the term "hip dyslpasia" & know how to handle an animal who suffers from it, only to be shot down with "don't tell me how to run my business!".

People's animals are extremeyl precious to them. If you want to be in a business that deals with animals, then DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
