HOUGHTON VILLAGE ESTATE A SHAM TO RENT FROM

I signed a lease for my niece at the estate, the amount was for about R6000.00 per month, now they want rent for almost R9000.00 per month, The guards are always rude, The caretaker has a bad attitude, One cannot use a webber braai on their enclosed balcony, You are allowed only three sets of visitors per day. When we had given notice they asked if we can let people to have a look at the apartment, we said fine and the conversation to the people that want to rent that it is R6000.00. My sister told the new people that the agents are lying about the rents because they are leaving because they want R9000 and once you are in the apartment there is not much one can do My other niece had taken an apartment and moved out within a month and she was only given half the deposit back. I believe the the person Paul who has been handling is no longer there, These are privately owned apartments and is run by an agency and I really wonder whether the owners know about these problems. SO I SAY TO ALL PEOPLE THAT WANT TO RENT AT HOUGHTON VILLAGE BECAREFUL WHAT YOU SIGN FOR YOU MIGHT BE TAKE FOR A ROLLER COASTER RIDE AS IT IS THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE MOVING OUT
