Hotters shoes is not so hot
Hotters shoes sold a very comfortable boot few years ago. How many years are you anticipating to wear a high quality expensive shoe occasionally ? Surely close to a lifetime right? Well, after few years of wearing these pair occasionally, my retired mom experienced the soles perishing to crumbles one day during winter. Is this fair at all? I would like Hotters to compensate us in a way for my mom to be able to buy new boots on her pensioner income.

We have offered you a 30% discount on a new pair of shoes, however you did think this to not be quite adequate. Considering that your mother's boots were last imported into South Africa in Winter 2011 and you have informed me that you purchased them 9 years ago, we thought this gesture of goodwill to be fair. The pair of boots in question retailed between R890 and R1000 between 2011 and 2013, therefore our offer now is to issue you with a credit of 50% of the retail price of the boots, being R500 that you can choose to use at any time when you purchase from our Hotter Online store or our dedicated Hotter Shop in Cape Town.
