HOTEL SKY SANDTON NEVER AGAIN OMG

Booked in here on the 1st of June 2022 and still have a few days left here and all I can say is that I wasted my money! I dont know about the Cape Town establishment but what I've experienced at this Sandton establishment is just a pathetic excuse of a hotel situated in Sandtons well known luxury and high life city!

The rooms are tiny, the air conditioning doesnt work, the shower handles fall off, theres no tea and coffee in the rooms, when they clean the rooms they give you used shampoo and body wash containers, no fridge, no telephone to call or request any information and the window is not a window it's a projection board that flaps up with no privacy as other guests can look into your room so you can roll it up to get fresh air.

It feels like a prison sentence. The food is bad it's as if they use two weeks old food left overs. What's worse is that they charge R15 for ice on level 1(the restaurant) I mean are you KIDDING MEEE??? I've stayed at many hotels around the world this was by far the worst insult to withstsnd.

I mean just take one moment to think about this R15 for a bucket of ice!!! Its a hotel ICE IS FREE!!! OMG. next thing they'll charge you R10 for air. I also literally had to change rooms because nothing works. I wasted my money trying this place out because on the outside it looks flashy and beautiful but man oh man the experience is quite the opposite!

Only 1star for housekeeping they were great and the bed is actually comfortable but good luck with getting any help from anyone else other than housekeeping cause its like complaining to deaf ears nobody really seems like they are concerned for the guests.

It almost feels like people here are not getting paid to work here because of you need anything it's as if they doing you a favour upon any request. Hotel sky Sandton needs a really big redo! Management shouldnt be fooled this place is lacking in many areas. Horrible experience so far I doubt I'll come back here...
