Hostel Malti Budget (Malta). Dishonest *******.

A reservation was made via Booking.com for Hostel Malti Budget (Malta). According to the hostel’s terms, cancellations made within seven days are eligible for a full refund. My fiancé cancelled only a few hours after the booking was made because his plans unexpectedly fell through.

It has now been four months, and we have yet to receive our refund. Booking.com states that they paid the hostel directly and therefore aren’t responsible. What? Meanwhile, the hostel has been completely unresponsive to all attempts at contact.

Theft is a punishable ******** offense, and this will be taken further.

This experience has been extremely disappointing and totally unprofessional. I strongly advise against booking with Hostel Malti Budget (Malta)!!!
