re-instatement of my membership

My medical no is ***1 my son turned 21 while still at university in 2020, in 2021 forms were send to me for dependent review. The form stated that I submit before end April if he still a student or should they consider him as adult dependent upon my enquiry I was mislead by all call centre agents as they indicated that my son member ship will be effective until 31 May so if I opt for Adult from June He will be charged so. In the forms I indicated that from 1st June 2021 membership be cancelled. On several occasion I called all explain same thing to me. Unfortunately they wont sent me conversations that I had with them I assume. As know we are all sick in my family when I went to dr I was told my medical aid is suspended, when I called I am told for May Month I have to paid for Adult dependent upon questioning they say maybe it was not explained to me clearly. What surprise me is I have to pay 2175 of which my deduction for 2 month which is May and June were the same in my pay sleep and believing my employer did pay his part so when I ask no answer is give. Please help me in this regard if possible you may request all the transcript in order to be ascertain of the matter

As indicated from Hosmed that I will receive a call, indeed I did even though follow up was made after a week or so. The lady who helped me I must say she’s really professional and willing to resolved the matter as soon as possible. In our discussion she told me she will send me the recording of which she was advised by their Legal that a fee has to be paid and a request form should be sign. However, a call recording transcript was sent to me of which I found that there are gaps on it. She also spoke with their finance department about possibility of lifting the suspension of which I was told to pay the (R2***=1636) R1636 over the period of 3 month if matter resolved in my favour Hosmed will refund me but if Hosmed acted correctly I won’t be refunded which sound fair. If I remember well, I called 3 times on 28 April 2021 and only one transcript received and am willing to pay the cost of recording where I will hear clearly the conversations between me and Agents in order to resolved this matter. Because in the transcript I receive the agent seems to confused me.

Me: so are you/we (hosmed) waiting until his birthday

Agent no they are doing it now for end of May and they are waiting until end of April for the dependant verifications

And I ask of which it does appear on transcript meaning by end of May he will be out and I was told May he will be serving notice like when you cancel medical aid you serve notice then by June, he will be charge adult rate then I concluded that since May he is covered then 1 June he can be removed from medical aid. Other reason that may cause Hosmed to go after money is because they claim they paid R6000 for operation of which is expensive meaning like it or not I have to pay them the money.
