Not Refunding Monies Due To Me

I saw a chiropractor on 4 different days in September. Each time I paid the doctor upfront and submitted a refund claim to Hosmed. The first 2 visits, after I had paid the doctor, Hosmed duplicated the payment and paid the doctor again. The second 2 visits, after I had paid the doctor, Hosmed (believe it or not) refunded me. Now I ask, how can Hosmed pay out to the doctor, whom I have already paid for the first 2 visits, and then pay out to me for the last 2 visits. After 3 phone calls and 3 emails over a 2-month period, I get told today that Hosmed cannot reverse the initial 2 payments made to the doctor and that I should phone the doctor and request a refund from them. No ways, Hosmed made the gross error not me, why should I phone my doctor when Hosmed made the stuff up. By the way each account has a stamp \PAID IN FULL - PLEASE REIMBURSE PATIENT". Absolute incompetence! If this is not resolved ASAP"
