Hosmed - Worst Medical Aid Scheme Ever!!!

<p>On the 12th of October 2016, my wife called Hosmed to find out if she qualified to go for a free a mammogram offered by Hosmed and she was then told to go as she qualified. Based on this information, she then went for the mammogram. When the time came for Hosmed to make the payment, Hosmed called my wife to let her know that they had made a mistake and she should be the one to settle the account. The matter was then escalated Hosmed management who said my wife should have known from the brochure that the free mammogram was age restricted so its her fault. This kind of management who can't even take responsibility for their Scheme's action, I no longer trust them with my wife's well-being so I'm going to cancel my medical aid cover with this Scheme. There's rumour I heard that the scheme is bankrupt so I'm not suprised that they won't even acknowledge their wrong doing, they can't afford to. Please think again if you are going to trust these people with your families well-being, they are not to be trusted.</p>
