FRUSTRATED DEALINGS

This scheme are extremely difficult to deal with! Hosmed have so many "Service Providers" handling their different aspects of our medical aid. They have contracted out to the following companies: Medscheme for Pharmacy Benefits, DRC (Dental Risk Company) for Dental, PPN (Preferred Provider Network) for Optical, PHA (Private Healthcare Administrators) for Hospital Benefit Management etc. No wonder the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing! Every year Tax Certificates supp**** by Hosmed are inaccurate! SARS query our out of pocket expenses every year and it is extremely time consuming to provide proof to SARS. DRC always reject claims and their rules change constantly! As a member it is extremely difficult to keep up to date with their changing rules! Extremely *********** agents with phone queries and no management to deal with when something needs to be escalated! These Service Providers that Hosmed have appointed are also dictating who members must deal with for Eye Tests, Dental, Pharmacies etc.
