Name and Shame Horizon Glass And Aluminium

In January 2015 we began correspondence with Hannes Olivier of Horizon Glass and Aluminium for the replacement of windows in two rooms of our apartment. After much back and forth (poor management on Hannes' part, lack of time management, constant cancellations, no shows at the last minute, etc) work began. Horizon arrived days late to our replacement and left our apartment in absolute disarray. The installation process was absolutely appalling. You can view Horizon's handy work in the attached image. There were leaks in the windows, putty left all over the walls, the windows after having been "repaired" for three days on site (the job was scheduled for one day) were buckling and leaking. After further calls and endless mails, Hannes told my husband he could putty the windows himself and that this was not Horizon's problem. Our only error was being naive enough to make the full payment to Hannes on the first day on the job. Once he had his money, he was no longer interested and simply "could not understand how the windows were still leaking" (his words). After a further two weeks' of back and forth, leaking windows, damage to personal property owing to a poor product the windows were repaired once more. Or so we thought. In March 2016 these "new windows" began leaking yet again. We contacted Hannes and gave him the choice of either a full refund OR replacement of the faulty product in their entirety within the month. He responded quickly promising he would inspect and replace these shortly. Two months later and surprise surprise, no word from Horizon. I plan to post images of this dishonest "business owner" every day until we receive resolve.
