Bag in bad shape no replcement or refund

<p>Hi,</p> <p>I bought a bag from one of the Sales ladies at work .<br />The handles of the bag came loose about 2 weeks of use.</p> <p>I bought the bag in December 2015 as a gift to my Aunt and in Febreuary 2016 it had begun to tear-up and it is now in a bad state. wHEN I TOOK IT BACK TO THE SALES LADY SHE TOLD ME THAT THE COMPANY SAYS THAT THEY WILL NOT REPLACE THE BAG AND THERE WILL BE NO REFUND BECAUSE WE DIDN'T NOTIFY THE SALES LADY THE SOONEST... BUT FEEL THAT THIS BAG THATS MORE THAN R500 SHOULD BE STRONG ENOUGH TO LAST ME ABOUT A YEAR OR MORE IM NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL... DISAPPOINTED I WASTED MY MONEY!</p> <p>Is this good business practice?<br />Surely the bag would have been replaced by now?</p>
