Ridiculous quote and no feedback.

I asked Honda Centurion for a quote for a Honda Jazz 1.5 EX on 105 000km service. It's major service was at 90 000km and the service amount was just under R4 000, it was still under a maintenance plan. The service consultant came back with a quote for R4407! I queried the quote and was told that the spark plugs needs to be replaced, and that's what makes it so expensive. Apart from the R1600 labour, the sparkplugs alone was R1384.60. But WITHOUT the spark plugs, the service would have still cost me R3022 for a MINOR service!! The service consultant promised on the 9th of February to come back to me with an amended quote, but as I needed to book the car for a service for the 10th of February - which I explained on the phone, he didn't bother coming back with any further communication. I'm not in the least bit impressed. I had the car eventually serviced from a SERTIFIED Honda service center, and the entire service cost me R1980. Not cool Honda, not cool.
