Interior Seat Material Quality Issue

I have a 2015 Honda Ballade CVT with only 35000km on the clock. A few weeks ago I suddenly noticed a worn through tear in the side bolster of the drivers seat. The material on this part of the seat is like velvet. I sent a email to Honda expressing my total disappointment at the quality of the material used. The reply was sorry, your car is out of warranty. I previously owned a Toyota Camry with material sets and for 21 years I never had a problem. I am totally disappointed with Honda who are not at all prepared to admit to a quality problem. I will never recommend them to anyone I know and I will definitely never purchase a Honda again.
