Honda car rocks. Honda SA has no after sales service whatsoever.

I am a 1st time Honda owner: 2025 Fit hybrid purchased in May of 2025. My wife got sc****d in March at a stop street. We took our Honda to Spraycraft panel beaters, and they (and we) were waiting for parts order in early April from Honda SA via Honda Mekor Tygervalley until August! No loaner, no rental, no flying out the parts. We had to cancel our 1st warranty service scheduled in May 2026 because we were still waiting for parts. The only form of after sales support was from Honda SA parts keeping us posted as to the incredibly long delivery times. That is it. After what, 5 months, Spraycraft, an official Honda panel beater, finally got all of the parts, made the repairs & brought the car to Honda Mekor Tygervalley for diagnostics. It only failed when they drove it - apparently we need another part (a pinched tube). Must we really wait another 2 months? Thankfully, they serviced our car because it was on site. After visiting and unloading (in a nice way) on Mekor Tygervalley parts manager, I made a follow up service appointment before the diagnostics . . . and they said I would probably have to pay for it because we had missed the 1 year mark! Must i pay? Really? Must we wait another 2 months for a single part? Really? People, the car rocks. Honda SA sucks. Absolutely no after sales support whatsoever. We don't mean servicing the car. We mean after sales *support*: Honda SA could loan us a vehicle, offer to pay for the rental (we've had 3 cars either rental or loaners from Spraycraft since April), or fly the parts out in a timeous fashion. The truth is: Honda SA and Honda Mekor Tygervalley couldn't care less about its customers. All they want is for us to trade in the car we just bought for a new one - just got the email the other day. Pathetic after sales support.

Let me tell you - every friend, every student, every family member, every person with whom we speak about cars . . . they hear every ounce of what I'm typing now. Perhaps there's a reason there are so few Hondas on the road in SA compared to Toyota, Suzuki, VW, Hyaundi, . . . I bet it has something to do Honda SA's lack of customer support!
