Cut Front left carpet

I bought a brand new Honda Jazz model year 2015 in March 2015 from Honda Zambezi. In May 2015 I took my Honda to Honda Zambezi to show them the cut in the left front carpet. Their service manager Charl Wepener assisted me. He took it up with Honda's warranty department. Nothing happened. I then send a complaint in June on Honda's website. Emily Langley then responded. An area service manager then investigated the situation without ever looking at my car . He then responded that it is within Honda specifications. How can a new Honda with a cut in the carpet be within specifications.
