CPA means nothing to Honda dealerships or Honda SA
On Frid 2016.02.12, I bought a used Honda TRX450R quad bike from Honda PMB. On the same weekend the battery went flat and I recharged it twice, but on Frid 2016.02.19 the battery died and I was forced to buy a new battery for R679.00.

I approached the dealership to refund me the cost of the battery I was forced to buy within 7 days of the purchase. The dealership refused to pay for the new battery as they claim (1) I bought a used bike, and (2) the battery was working when the bike was delivered to me.

I approached Honda SA and they say if I'm not happy with the dealership's decision, I must approach the Motor Industry Ombudsman.

Honda SA is not committed to ensuring the happiness of Honda customers, and Honda Pietermaritzburg (t/a FURY SUZUKI Pietermaritzburg) will sell you a bike or car under the disguise of buying from a respectable accredited Honda dealer, but after taking delivery you must endure the Motor Industry Ombudsman to get a battery for your 7 days old vehicle.

The CPA means nothing to this dealership, and you cannot expect Honda SA to do the correct thing either. Sad, buyers beware. I will never touch another Honda product, or vehicle in a Honda franchise again.
