Bad service

My mother in law brought in her automatic Honda CR-V for service on the 14th of December 2015, the issue was the D (drive) kept on flashing, they only returned it to her on the 15th saying it was fixed and she could drive it to Botswana as planned. She drove it home and not even a kilometer and the same issue arose. It's the 16th we have brought it back and only today we were told that the Technician has actually been away. So our question is who tempered with the car then? The principal dealer says unfortunately \we cannot give you a courtesy car
