Honda Sandton not forthcoming with details of repairs and just plain ***** in their processes

13 Jan 2018 too my bike which was fully functional had no issues in for a duplicate key coding, mechanic , Terry, couldn't complete the job on the day and asked me to return it the following week. He handed over the bike and the cluster lights were all on and the mechanic assured me he would resolve this the following week. On 16/01/18 returned the bike collected 2 days later 18/01/18 was told the cluster got damaged and will need to be replaced at a cost of R3000 for a second hand cluster. I returned the bike on 3 Feb '18 to the Service Manager insisting they correct my bike to the state I brought it in which he agreed to. On 17 Feb when i collected the bike I found handed over by service manager, Trevor that the bike kilometers were at 45000km but my bike's kilometers were 27000km when I took the bike in. Returned the bike and asked about their release process and why there was noone to explain what was done and there's been a whole back and forth of investigations by Honda Sandton and being told other experts/mechanics from Honda SA and Bike Hospital are assisting with diagnosis. On 8 March I was called by the Foreman notified that the clusters were still sent out and that's when requested a report of findings and investigation and received a hand written doc on 13/03/18 on a note page, not even on an official Honda letter head which i found very insulting. I responded by email on how I feel and included, Honda Sandton dealer principal who i also went to see about this on 3/03/18, Honda SA customer and have to date not received a response. But my bike was suddenly ready for delivery/collection on 14/03/2018 but without paper work to sign it out and detail what was done to the bike in over 4 weeks it spent in their workshop. I notified Honda Sandton Foreman, Felix, that given my bike has been there so long and has exchanged so many hands I need a formal delivery, ie. sign out letter from them confirming all work done as well as guarantee on the work done, the Foreman does not seem to understand why I need this. I want to collect my bike but have things done properly is this the way Honda does things and treats their customers in South Africa? I just want my bike to be handed over with dignity and assurance that whatever was messed up in their workshop is fixed and i won't have to go back there again
