Dirty Units With Roaches - Not Even Getting The One You Viewed, Unprofessional Staff, Noise, Leaking Units

MUST READ!! If there was an option for zero rate - HOMii would get all the zeros! Here’s my experience(Final Paragraph - see what happened when I move out):

Moved in Dec23, paid and was told will check in 2pm. I came through and the room was still occupied and the person only came back around 8pm to start packing until midnight. Raised with HOMii as a new tenant - they didn’t give a f@@@! No inspection done, you have to sweep someone’s dirt and fumigate their roaches at midnight!

Stayed at a very Terrible building that doesn’t look the same on pictures. ****roaches and bugs, and even mosquitoes coming from the dirty roof of the mezzanine area.

Building is leaking from inside and outside. When it’s raining we had to move our beds and find a position where there’s no water coming in. Bathroom no lights for the entire 9 months period stayed. The same light was reported on the same day and nobody cared to check. They have their own LOADSHEDDING aka UNPAID Council Accounts/ Owes municipalities. That LOADSHEDDING can take up to 48+ hours and you will not receive any communication. They all just keep quiet as if nothing happened-business as usual.

Tell me about the little brained unprofessional, jealousy and heartless stuff. Some of these people think they are doing tenants a favor by keeping them in - very inexperienced and behaving like they’re our bosses. Remember, when you are a Landlord you’re dealing with people from different positions in life, theses ones will treat you like a grade R kid and not even take any of your maintenance requests seriously!

People party 24/7 - if you’re looking for tranquility and some space for yourself, try another Real Estate. At HOMii Lifestyle, you’ll stay with noisy people, play music and party overnight, and also because they used boxes to divide the rooms - people have se% and be loud - to a point you have to play music to avoid. We used to sleep with soft music or YouTube rain to avoid noise from neighbours.

No ventilation and you’ll sweat while naked! The building is divided with boxes that heats up the whole place. They are not even ashamed to tell you that ‘it is what is’. Collecting money is all they do. Avoid this place at all costs - rather extend where you are and look for a place following month!

When finally moved out, LIFTS were still NOT WORKING. I managed to carry my belongings from 6th floor to ba*****t and that took me almost the whole day. The only item I failed to take out was the Headboard. My headboard came in with the lift and had to fit it on the lift as it’s heavy. I moved without it and they put it in their storage! I then asked one of the tenants to notify me once lifts is fixed! I still came in to check twice a week and my last visit was 09.09.2024 it was still stuck. Lift was fixed yesterday or day before 12/13 Sept24. Meaning the lift has been stuck since 1st when I moved. Forget about that, I come in to collect my Headboard and they are refusing with it. I went in to collect it and bring it in the ba*****t and they refused to open the big gate /rollershutter for me - guess what, they saying I must pay again because they had my headboard for 12/13 days. I refused to pay, I went outside the building to tell the truck guys to leave, as u prepare to deal with these people by myself, when I returned I heard a big BANG from the ba*****t and as I got closer, one guy who works there by the name Kwenzokuhle Simelane is dragging my headboard and damaging it by trying to squeeze it in some lockers near the lifts - I went in to take it out, headboard now has holes and scratches! Asked him why he smashing my headboard he said it now belongs to HOMii 😵. Lift was not working when I moved, I spoke to them that I will collect it when I move out, everybody was aware but boom, the same people wants to ****** money from me! Waiting from 1pm until 6pm for them to open - they couldn’t! Their boss from Pretoria and Durban instructed them that they must not release it - they said. My Headboard is damaged at the back and under. I’m taking a legal action again this HOMii people. Ba tlwaela batho masepa!!! They are the most disgusting management I’ve known so far!
