Suspected *****ulant Conduct/Hiding from Clients: Homeowners Maintenance association

Homeowners are uncontactable and have been for the past year, from our understanding closed down from all appearances, however debit orders continue to be deducted on a policy that cannot be honored by Homeowners Maintenace Association. Both the policy and debit orders where cancelled in writing months ago, yet the insistent debit order deductions continue monthly on the account. We called a technician who previously worked for them (the only contactable person). He stated that many people have been in contact with him in this regard as they cannot get hold of Homeowners Mainetenance Association, and have the exact same problems with debit orders containing despite cancellation,s and repetitive reversals, that none of them can get any contact with anyone from Homeowners Maintenance Association.

It is clear that this is far from an isolated case, and ***** is being suspected, further cases will be opened with the Ombud for short term insurance, the Consumer Council (DTI) IRO of the Consumer Protection act, act No 68 of 2008, that are being violated) as well as the SAPS for further investigation.
