HMA- Glenwood- Clark Road

Excellent service before the job is done.Once payment is done and there is a problem with the job, thats when the problem starts. I called HMA for a fridge/freezer repair, the tech told me its the condensor and regassing, I was given a quote and an EFT payment (R1740) was done...Leigh insisted on a full payment to be made. The next day the repairs had to be done, in less than 5mins, i was told the compressor was blown, it needs to be replaced at a further costs of R1200.I refused to allow anymore repairs, cause firstly when the tech came he told me one problem and i was happy to repair, then now its something else..it just never add up. I was told that they cannot give me a refund on the condensor but will do with the gas and consumables...why??? only they know.The gas and consumables was taken back by the tech.To get my refund was a hustle, i was given all kinds of stories, eventually Leigh stop answering my messages and emails. Almost 2 months trying to get a refund, I decided to go to their offices, which is not the same address advertised on their website. I managed to find them a few roads away operating from a garage at a residential block of flats. After screaming and shouting for my refund, I managed to get it this morning. It is very sad when you want to support local businesses and you get a service like this...honesty and trust was something that lacked with Leigh.
