I will never buy anything distributed by Homemation again.

I recently purchased a brand new Denon 250 from Rendo’s Audio. The store later called to offer me a Denon 350 demo model, described as being in perfect condition, for the same price. I agreed. When the speaker arrived, I encountered issues: due to a HEOS glitch, it wouldn’t play when grouped with other rooms. I contacted Homemation directly for support, explained the problem to multiple staff members, and was promised a callback that never came... It took me a couple of days and hours of research but finally got it working without them.

Then once it started working, I noticed the audio sounded off. After troubleshooting, I discovered the right channel was completely dead. I called Homemation again, only to be told I’d need to drive an hour each way to return the unit so they can inspect. This was a demo model from their floor—they must have known it wasn’t functioning properly. During my last call to them, a technician abruptly transferred me to another staff member while I was still talking, who then also reiterated that I’d have to bring the speaker back myself.

I’ve purchased numerous products distributed by Homemation, trusting they wouldn’t send me a faulty demo unit. That trust is now gone. Because of their negligence, I’m forced to deal with the hassle of returning the 350 and downgrade back to a Denon 250. I’m deeply disappointed, be careful who you trust...
