Homely Property/ Letting? Never again

I want to warn everyone considering using Homely Properties. They are extremely unprofessional, Larry (the Director of all things) is rude and arrogant and threatens clients. He has no people skills. It took them nearly 10 MONTHS to build a few houses and they're still not done! The houses are not mansions, they're standard townhouse sized. The plans were approved back in June 2021 and we were told our house will take 3 months (Larry said this himself when we signed the contract). I'm guessing that was just a sales gimmick they use to sell property. If only we knew what we do now, we would never have gone into business with homely. Constant excuses are given when we ask why it was taking so long. My husband went to the site at 11am one day in March 2022; there were only 3 workers at our house and they were sitting around listening to music. As far as I am concerned tea time is at 10 and only 30min long? I know this because I have many employees and their tea times rotate so that there is always more than one person at the work area. AND USING COVID-19 AS AN EXCUSE FOR ALL THE DELAYS IS PATHETIC AT BEST! We all had to deal with Covid in the work place and it did not hinder or delay deadlines by 6 months!!! Another excuse was that they have numerous projects at the moment and only a few builders. Sorry but I call BS, my brother is in the construction business and it took him under 4 months to build 2 complex townhouses. It is time that Larry wakes up, comes back down to earth and realise that treating clients like garbage in front of staff and fellow directors is not the way to go if you want to build rapport. Nonsensical excuses is also not going to go in your favor. We almost cancelled the sale because they keep extending the "expected date" with 2 weeks since November 2021. I spoke to a few people who reconsidered buying at Wedgewood because of complaints from various tenants. Well done Homely, you just lost a ton of clients and income.
