write off and closure

Good day

I am not happy with the service I received yesterday. I called customer care number I did get the name of the lady I spoke to. I advised the lady that I am requesting closure and said that account will be closed 3-4 months. That I did understand as to how can it take that long for account to be closed , I requested to speak to supervisor and spoke to Godfrey Abrahams. he told me that account not settled there is balance of R33.21 outstanding. but according to me account should be settled.

I received statement on the 11/10/2018 and closing balance stipulated was R549.64. I paid R560.00 on the 20/10/2018 when I asked how did the R33.21 come about he said is late payment fee that was charged on the 21/10/2018 how can I be charged a late payment fee on the account that is settled for me is not making sense.

I am requesting for the balance to be write off as I am not willing to pay the amount and have account closed plus paid up letter, so that I can be able to do others things.
