why cancel the DO
I received a call from a lady at homechoice. The cal was regarding confirmation of payment received ans to confirm my next payment due. I advised the lady to call me at 13h30 as I will be on lunch and am currently at work. As soon the phone dropped I reveived an SMS stating that my D/O has been cancelled as per my request, what request? I didn't action no such request. The SMS further ?instructs that I contact the call centre regarding the issue. I phoned the call centre and spoke to Linda, Call reference ***, Linda confirmed that a debit order was cancelled by an agent in the call centre but couldn't provide me with answers as to why the D/O was cancelled. She further offered to load a debit order on my behalf but until I an advised of the reason why it was cancelled initially i'm not prepared to waste any more of my time. Linda advised that the agent cancelled the debit order because I didn't confirm the details to the agenr and that the agent did not read me the Disclaimer for D/O, I advised Linda that when I enrolled for a debit order last month the disclaimer were read to me and now I am very much surprised that they have to read then to me again.
