Very bad quality

They difinitely do not deserve a star

Last week,I called the customer service centre to complain about the quality of the 3 blankets which I ordered end of May. Reason been the fluff from them, anyone who sleeps with them wakes up with fluff or lint as some call it all over the head and socks and they leave fluff on any piece of clothing one is wearing. The blankets have been machine washed 2 times. First time only soaked in Sta-soft and second time with sunlight powder, recently as I was preparing to pack and send them for assessment. I will say I bought them as an investment for winters to come and I am really not happy with the quality even when you test them by pinching them you come back with fluff. Please assess them yourselves.

I got a call today from a lady 21/09/2018 where basically she was telling me about the fact that I should not have machine washed them. Please note there was no user manual in these blankets as they were all individually wrapped in clear packaging hence I did not lie about them being machine washed. Please still take a look at them and they have not been used much, is it quality that you guys want to sell to your customers. She asked me about if we saw this within the 14 days why did we not return them? Simply because we thought if we soak them in sta-soft the fluff problem will be sorted, when I saw that even after that the problem still continues I then decided to log the query, wash them as I was not going to send through blankets that are dirty for assessment. As I stated to her even if you do not credit me for their value based on this washing machine story, please keep them as I am still going to send them back because I and anyone who comes to my house will not sleep with them. Again I state I am very unhappy to pay for such poor quality. Homechoice quality is not what it used to be, I buy based on the fact that my mother used to be a loyal customer and to this day the stuff she bought there is still usable and of great quality. A friend bought a blanket from Chinatown and it looks better than these 3 blankets I have.
