I ordered a set of pots from Homechoice. They delivered to the wrong address. The persons family member at the other address is a drug addict & he sold my pots to other people. The owner of the house got my invoice & the other person told him what he done. The owner then went to buy the pots back for R350 using his daughters school fees. This man wanted to bring the open box of pots to my house & wanted the R350 from me. He also called me on my cell because the couriers left the invoice with my cell no, ID no, name & surname & my home address at these peoples place. That is a breach in customer personal information protection. Homechoice say they must
first investigate my story & once it is finalised then only they can send my pots order. I spoke to Maruwaan who was the manager at homechoice. He said he would send me a dispute form to report the matter. I waited 2 days for the form & had to call them several times. I feel a violation of my personal details. Yesterday I got an sms to say they hope Im enjoying my delivered goods which I dont even have! I need homechoice to do something about this matter NOW. I want compensation for what they caused me.
