Unmet expectations and promises
I ordered some items from Homechoice. After several telephone calls I at last got them to finalise my order. Later I received an sms on my cellphone number stating : Thanks for opening a homechoice credit facility with an internet link and the actual Home Choice phone number for Pre agreement and quotation. When opening the link it indicated all my Homechoice information , account number, ID number etc and was on the actual Homechoice webpage. There was also options of 2 types of facilities to the amount of R 26 000 which were immedetialy available as explicitaly stated and indicated the credit terms and repayments. When I phoned the contact centre no operator was able to assist or knew anything about the said sms. I think this is unacceptable to be sent out to customers indicating credit they have available and then no one is even aware of such messages being sent out. Firstly it means that there is promises made and not met and expectations rised and not met. I would like to know why this was sent out if this is not actually available as indiciated as this is bad style going back on a Pre Agreement as stated in the sms.
