Undisclosed fees for unnecessary and unwanted services

Why would anybody refuse to deliver an item because I did not pay the assembly cost which was : 1) Not Disclosed 2) Not invoiced 3) Not required They are now holding my order hostage until I pay a fee I knew nothing about. Does one even need to assemble an ottoman?
