Returns Policy and Terrible Customer Service Agents!
Each time I call the Homechoice Customer Service I am met with brash, unprofessional staff.
I called the Customer Service department on 2 occasions today and the same I always have the same experience. The staff do not have common courtesy - I had to request that the first agent I spoke to use the words 'please' and thank you' because she simply disregarded the concept of etiquette.
- your ID number - your name ....is how I was asked to confirm the security check.
I was so riled up with disrespect coupled with the fact that she was shouting over the line and did not enunciate her words which was evident from having to repeatedly ask her to clarify her questions. I ended this call in hope of getting through to someone more professional.
Sadly, I was mistaken.
The second agent told me to hold on while he had shouted in the background to his colleagues.
This is so bad and makes me NEVER want to buy anything from Homechoice again!
My second issue is the Returns Policy - why is there no exception to this where certain items are concerned?
I bought 2 pairs of shoes in August and want to return them now - they have never been worn. I went abroad and returned recently to request a return.
I am quite aware of the 14-day return policy, however, would like to know what other procedure there is to have my orders returned.
I was informed y the second agent that even if he requests the return, Homechoice will send it back to me - why?
Why would you not first assess the items to confirm that they have never been worn and that they still have their original packaging?
Why will you not review my account to see if I am a concessional returner? Should you take the time to look at this, you will see that I am not and have not requested a return before.
What if I had no other option until now to return the goods?
Surely, there should be a process in place where instances prevent you from following the normal procedure.
Please escalate the return request as I REFUSE to speak to the Call Centre staff about this!
