I bought a kiddies bedding sometime in May 2024 at Hemmingways Home Choice, they informed me that the order has arrived. I then asked them to return the item because I have already bought the item from a different store. They told me that they will send the item back to Cape Town on the 10th of June 2024, I have been calling the head office regarding the refund and they told me to wait as it takes 10 days to process the refund. i have been waiting eversince. To my surprise I am receiving a call to collect the item, and I told them that I asked for a return on the 8th of June. So clearly it has not been retuned to head office all along.

08 Jul 2024, 14:14They did not even verify my details, they only asked for my delivery address and ID numver, only to realise that they used an email address that is not in use anymore. I only realized such when I called the head office and they were doing their verification process.
