Refund of no value ??? Broken and Incomplete Now.
After a hugely bad experience with my last two orders, i received my Zinzi Dinner Set last week Thursday. Upon opening the boxes, i found one side plate broken and the salad bowl broken. I took pictures and on Friday morning i emailed Homechoice the pictures of the broken items and asked for assistance on how do i return it and how does it work. I got a call to tell me that they will find out from the supplier if there is stock. I then received a call yesterday afternoon to tell me that the supplier does not have stock and that Homechoice is willing to credit my account with R45.00 per item, equaling to R90.00 credit. Now this is my problem : With your interest and delivery charges, this set cost me R2814.63 over 16 months. Its a 33 piece set, which equals to R85.29 per item. The salad bowl of course costs much more than a side plate. How on earth do Homechoice want to refund me R45.00 per item ? And i'm sitting with a total incomplete set, defeating the purpose of having a "full"dinner set. Please sort this out ? My next step is reporting Homechoice to the NCR and not fulfilling their adherence to the regulations of the CPA.
