Please close my account, I don't owe you any money

I have an revolving account with homechoice. Currently the account balance is 0 which means I don't owe them anything. The account is active as per Experian. I have been trying for almost a year now to get them close the account. I don't want this account active with Experian . The call centre people don't have a clue of what I am talking about , they are all confused. Could you please assist with closing this account and make sure its not active on the Experian. Please Please. This is running my credit profile because of credit utilization on this account.
