Misleading Advertising

On Thursday 9th April I attempted to make a purchase of a cutlery set which was advised on the Homechoice website at a reduced price. I logged onto the website and was attended to by a sales consultant Kazi...who was quite happy to acknowledge that I was a good customer having purchased on a number of occassions. She then informed me that the item I wished to purchase, the cutlery set was out of stock. She agreed that their website showed that they had stock. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was put on hold. A young man by the name of Muavier came on line and agreed with me that their website showed, incorrectly so, that they had stock of the item I wished to purchase. He agreed that it was misleading advertising and understood that I was upset. He gave me the name of his manager as Mr. S McFarlane and assured me that they would make every effort to source the cutlery set for me at the reduced price as advertised on their website. I am still waiting, despite assurance of feedback. Interestingly enough, what they have done is change the information on their website regarding the cutlery set. This kind of customer service is highly unacceptable from Homechoice.
