Incorrect listing

Homechoice incorrectly listed me as a SUSPECT of *****, instead of a VICTIM of attempted *****...without my acknowledgement or consent. I have never had any relationship with them, prior to this incident, yet they now want me to share all of my personal information with them to lift change the listing. What laws are there to protect one against companies a such?
