I was handed over to Strauss and Daly and they offered me an 80% settlement offer

I was handed over to Strauss and Daly and they offered me an 80% settlement offer. If I pay the Homechoice account that I will receive a paid up letter. The settlement payment was made on the 03 May 2021 already I have still not received the paid up letter. I have sent the proof of payment and but still no paid up letter. I have liaising with Strauss and Daly since May 2021 but told that they sent a request for the letter to Homechoice and once they receive it, it will be sent to me. In August I received a call from Brooke and Luyt and told that the account was handed over to them now with the full outstanding balance payable. So i explained the situation with the caller and she tells me that once i received the letter from Strauss and Daly i will need to send it to them. So i immediately try to call Homechoice but am not able to get through. I waited on the line for over 6 mins and the drops on their side. I emailed Homechoice and liaised with Lizelle Marthinus explained the whole situation to her and she tells me they investigating and during this Michelle Govender from Strauss and Daly is copied in all emails being sent to Homechoice. I don't know what to do anymore. Can you kindly assist as the account is still reflecting on my credit report as not paid.
