i can not believe this!!!

so in july 2014 I bought a ice cream maker from Home choice, I haven't opened the machine up until Saturday round about 2:30pm when it was so hot and my kids were asking for ice cream, I opened the box still covered in polystyrene, when I took it out of the box on my counter top I realised the machine was cracked at first I thought it was the design but when I looked closer it was a actual crack, I don't know how it happened as the box had protection over and plastic bubbles to protect it, I couldn't find the user manual (if it does come out with one) the plug is dirty with a stick substance on it. I called home choice and guess what they said? unfortunately we cant take it back as it passed its 14day home approval period and the 12month guarantee is expired as well as the warrantee, so that leaves me with a machine that I never used, in actual fact they made me pay for a damaged product full price something I don't even know how to use.. I have supported this company for many years my very last purchase was tablets that I also had to send in because it was poor quality. Never ever ever agaon shall I buy from them I would rather buy saveway or russelhobbs.DISGUSTED DAY LIGHT ******
