Homechoice...what the heck?

<p>I settled my HC account almost a year ago. This weekend I get an sms from a debt collector on behalf of HC, stating that I must urgently contact them, or else they will blacklist me. I called the number, and the lady assisting told me that HC handed me over for non payment, obviously I was shocked, and went on to tell the lady that I do not have an account with HC, she then went to tell me about an account which I paid off more than a year ago, and I told her as such. She asked that I send her the proof of payment, and she will tke it up with them.</p> <p> </p> <p>Fast forward to today, I get another threatning email from the very debt collector, claiing that after numerous attempts to get hold of me, and that if I don't pay the amount due by tomorrow, I will be listed?</p> <p> </p> <p>HC, if this is how you run your affairs, then am clear in saying that I will never ever do business with you, and will encourage everyone I know to also boycott you....remember how powerful word of mouth is, and believe me, I now aa lot of people. How dare you come to me almost after an account was supposedly paid off to tell me that there is an outstanding amount, is it poor accounting or just pure ncompentency on your part. Please let yoy dogs off my back....as far as I am concerned, I have no business with you!</p>
