HomeChoice punish you if you settle your account before agreed period

HomeChoice consultants calls everyday to ask you to take more goods but they are unable to give correct information. A person called me somewhere on 26 or 27 Feb to ask if i dont want more things on account I said no but requested my settlement amount. He said it is R2074.04 which i paid. Then 2days later i received sms saying thank you for the payment your balance is now R268.85. I paid it immediately but 2 days later sms came saying my balance is R38.62 which i paid coz I wanna get rid of Homechoice. Now my statement says R0.00 balance but minimum payment is R36.40. I feel that all this payments after settlement is a punishment for finishing the debt before the 12/18months term! I requested that the account must be closed via email but no answer and yesterday when they called again, the lady could not drop the call fast enough after I said I am not interested in buying feom HomeChoice so I could not ask her to close the account.

Dear Lee Ann. I note with great concern your email where you say HomeChoice does not close accounts they keep it active for record keeping purposes. Now the thing is: Since there is most probably nothing I can do about the stance of Homechoice, but I DEMAND that you explain my balance of R0.00 but minimum payment due is R36.40. Also can you NOT call me everyday to convince me to buy because you not closing accounts is really punishing consumers for early settlements. In the mean time i will also warn everyone that I know that you will not close their account after they have paid up the account and that you call everyday to talk people into buying from you while you refuse to give useful information about their account.
