HomeChoice- Prescribed Debt

Good day @HomeChoice, I am writing to formally raise my ongoing concern regarding a HomeChoice account that has been reflected on my credit profile for several years. The debt in question has prescribed, and I have made multiple requests for confirmation and correction in this regard. I was advised that the account had been sold to Nimble Group, whom I contacted accordingly. Nimble Group informed me that the account was being handled by SSDA Attorneys. Upon contacting SSDA Attorneys, I was advised that the account had been handed back to HomeChoice. Despite sending numerous emails and making several telephone calls, I have been unable to obtain any assistance or written confirmation. The HomeChoice legal department (***) has not responded to my correspondence. This lack of response and accountability is extremely frustrating and reflects poorly on the organisation. I hereby request written confirmation of the status of this account and the necessary steps taken to ensure its removal from my credit profile, given that the debt has prescribed. Should I not receive a written response within seven (7) days of this correspondence, I will have no alternative but to escalate the matter by lodging a formal complaint with the National Credit Regulator and the Credit Ombudsman. I trust this matter will receive your urgent attention.

Reviewer Update
Hi,
I refer to my previous correspondence, including multiple follow-up emails, all of which have gone unanswered.
To date, I have received no acknowledgement or response whatsoever from your office from Nimble Group or Home Choice.
Your continued failure to respond constitutes a serious lack of due care and is unacceptable for a registered credit provider. I have afforded your organisation more than sufficient time to engage and resolve this matter amicably, yet no communication has been forthcoming.
This email serves as a final written demand. You are hereby required to provide a substantive written response within five (5) business days from the date of this email, setting out the status of this matter and the steps being taken to resolve it.
Should you fail to comply with this request within the stipulated timeframe, I will proceed without further notice to lodge formal complaints with The National Credit Regulator and The Credit Ombudsman, including submission of a full record of my unanswered correspondence as evidence of non-compliance.
I trust that your organisation will now treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it warrants.
Thank you.Suraya Robert
