Homechoice not taking responsibility

I had an account with homechoice which was overdue. They listed a default on my credit profile. On 17/07/2019 i contacted home choice to arrange settlement. They referred me to their collections agency norman bisset & associates. I made the full payment on 18/07/2019. Now I'm struggling to have them clear my credit record. Each company referres me to the other. From my understanding it was homechoice who listed me, hence since i no longer owe them, they must remove that default. I have sent them all the proof and one of their consultants even confirmed that my payment reflects on their records.
