Homechoice no longer my choice

I bought a pair of boots which were on sale last year in summer and obviously started wearing them now. I wore them the first time and thought they were a bit tight but figured they are leather and will conform to my foot in time. I then wore them a second time and 1 shoe is becoming fine yet the other is still rather tight. As I took them off I notice that the shoes have contradicting labels on them. On the bottom of the shoes they are both written size 8. Yet on the inside one shoe says 8 while the other says 7! Coincidentaly thats the tight one.

I called the call centre and they say to me its been too long since the purchase and they can't do anything for me. I just spent more than a R1000 for a pair of shoes which came from the manufacturer with this fault and now its MY problem! They need to take accountabilty ans recognise that even their quality control missed this. I am so infuriated and I'm shutting down that account. These people do not care for their customers at all.
