HOMECHOICE is *********'S PARADISE

I am disappointed by Homechoice and how they're system of verifying people who apply for their products, is not secured whatsoever.

I have been having debit orders of R500 monthly since March 2020 and when i make a follow up, I'm told someone used my PERSONAL DETAILS to apply. I was told to do an affidavit so their ***** department can investigate and give me the address where the products were delivered. Unfortunately the person has a name but no surname. I would like to know why don't Homechoice use an OTP verification system that would let the person applying be verified by because all my accounts including my bank use one Number. I would've declined to respond to the OTP request and alert them of possible ***** being done using my PERSONAL DETAILS.

What security checks do they use to verify people applying? Everytime i have to reverse, dispute and stop these debit orders they affect my credibility with credit bureaus.
