Homechoice: Installment refund reported on 26 May 2021 still not received
May 2021: I bought items from Homechoice and agreed to a debit order deduction. 17th of May 2021: I was informed by Busisiwe Msindwana that the debit order will not take action because I do not have a South African bank account (I have an email to proof it), whereafter I agreed to continue doing eft payments as I have done in the past. 24 May 2021: I made an EFT payment of 1800.00 to Homechoice. 26 May 2021: Homechoice debit order went off my cheque account, 1785.53 - AFTER I was told that it will not go off! 26 May 2021: I reported it immediately. Homechoice Busisiwe confirmed that a refund was activated on the 28th of May and that I will have the funds within 48 - 72 hours. 3 June 2021: Homechoice Busisiwe confirmed that I will have the money by the end of week, June 4. Nothing happened. 10 June 2021: Received a sms that the refund was approved - funds will be available within 48-72 hours. 17 June 2021: 5 working days has passed, still no money. Spoke to another Homechoice consultant just now, according to him the refund was approved (AGAIN???) on the 14th of June, funds will be available in 48-72 hours (another 48-72 hours???). I need my money urgently and I cannot listen to Homechoice's false promises and excuses anymore....
