HomeChoice ********** Debit Orders and Refusal to provide information
Homechoice raised a debit order on my bank account. I did not open an account or purchased any thing in person or online. I queried the debit order. In order to log a dispute, you must complete their form with a copy of your iD. You can add the SAPS case number. But here is the catch. HomeChoice refuse to provide you with information and the account opening(where did they get my information?). SAPS detectives can only open a case and investigate WITH INFORMATION. So Homechoice uses your ********** obtained personal and financial information to load debit orders. And they know you cannot register a case with SAPS detectives without information. SAPS advise that I do NOT use their Dispute form and send a copy of my ID. I now have to try other avenues to get the information from HomeChoice. THEN I can open a case with SAPS. Distgusted with HomeChoice

1. HomeChoice will never provide me with the information on the this account to open a SAPS case.
2. The Consumer Act will not help me to get the information. The ombudsman will also not help me.
3. I must now get an affidavit plus a CERTIFIED ID. The declaration form does not ask for a CERTIFIED ID , neither the customer care person specified is must be certified. Just a copy of my ID.
4. Homechoice will provide me with a letter stating the outcome of my issue.
I have submitted the dispute form, an affidavit and a CERTIFIED ID to the Disputes e-mail address. I did not send it to the complaints email address advised by Lee-Ann.
I will wait for the outcome of the dispute and see what happens.
